After many operating under the Sears banner, Paul Giffin decided to keep serving his community when Sears operations in Canada came to an end as we all know.  His passion for retail and love of the community is now shown in the operation of a sporting good and consumer electronics store. Seeing that the previous sports store in Happy Valley/Goose Bay had burned down a few years ago and the lack of a local consumer electronics retailer, he joined the Sports Excellence banner in 2017 as it was a way for him to ensure quality products at competitive prices to people in his community.

Today, on top of partnering with the best names in sporting equipment, he also has partnered with the leader in consumer electronics, Samsung, to offer the best TV and sound products available on the market.
